Beetham C Of E Aided Primary School

Collective Worship

Each day children take part in an act of collective worship.  This is sometimes as a whole school and other times as a class or phase.  Worship is led by teachers, children and visitors, including Father Andrew on a weekly basis.

Collective worship is based around our school values and explores songs, stories and Biblical teaching about these values.  We also ensure we stay up to date with recent news and world affairs by watching News Bites for the week and discussing these as a class.

Each Friday we hold celebration Assembly, where children are awarded the Golden Jumper for their contribution to the school that week and showing the school’s values in their actions.

Throughout the term worship is led by different classes which take place in church.  This is where the class shares their work with the rest of the school and parents.
