Beetham C Of E Aided Primary School

Collective Worship

Every day, the whole school takes part in an act of Collective Worship. This is led by staff members and/or the children, guided by a member of staff, who plan and lead the assemblies, based on one of 5 key areas:

  • Singing
  • Christian Values
  • S.E.A.L (Social and Emotional Aspects of Learning)
  • Recent and Relevant – this might be a religious festival or key event taking place around the world
  • Celebration Assembly – a chance to combine a daily act of worship with a celebration and reflection on the events in school that week
